Whether you’re a local or plan on visiting the city soon, there are plenty of fall activities to enjoy in Toronto. Check out some of these upcoming events!
Nuit Blanche (Oct. 1-2)
If you enjoy art, head to Nuit Blanche across the city from Oct. 1-2. Over 150 pieces of contemporary art and exhibitions will be displayed from sunrise to sunset in Scarborough, North York, and Etobicoke. The best part about this event is that it’s free to view these public art spaces. There will also be a free series of Q&A sessions and panels with many of the Nuit Blanche artists.
Poutine Festival (Oct. 14-16)
A true Canadian comfort food is poutine, the delicious combination of fries, cheese curds, and gravy. But the 10th Poutine Festival from Oct. 14-16 at Street Eats Market will offer many different ways to enjoy it. Check out the multiple vendors and their version of the dish. Later in the month, Street Eats Market will also be home to Soup Fest from Oct. 21-23.
Cask Days (Oct. 18-20)
Are you a beer fan? If so, you need to go to the Cask Days Beer Festival from Oct. 18-20 at Evergreen Brick Works. This festival specifically celebrates cask ale, which includes naturally carbonated, unfiltered, and unpasteurized beer served from a barrel. This year marks the event’s 15-year anniversary and will also include over 300 beers as well as delicious food and live music.
